About the event
Join Main Street Ottumwa as we kick off our spring beautification season with our annual Earth Day Clean-Up on April 22 from 9:00am to Noon. This event marks the start of our seasonal efforts to refresh downtown after winter by tidying streets, sprucing up public spaces and beginning our planting for the year.
Volunteers of all ages are welcome to take part in this hands-on morning of community pride. Whether you can stay the whole time or just stop by to help for a bit, every extra set of hands makes a difference. We’ll provide supplies, guidance and cleanup assignments. You just bring comfortable clothes and a willingness to help make downtown shine.
