Main Street Ottumwa will be hosting its Witch Way to Main Trunk-or-Treat in downtown Ottumwa on Thursday, October 30, 2025 from 5:30pm-7:30pm! Families will be invited to East Main Street, where there will be music and a photo booth for everyone. Any business, church, not-for-profit or community organization is invited to participate by decorating their vehicle/trunks and handing out treats to children. You may also pass out promotional information about your organization.

Cost is $25.00 to participate. Payment and form must be received to save your space. One space per organization unless not all slots are filled. We will take reservations until October 17.

SETUP

• Participants must arrive to check in on East Main Street starting at 4 pm and be set-up by 5:15 pm. 

Participants must stay for the entire event.

• Designated slots will be assigned for each group. One slot per group unless not all slots are taken.

DECORATING

• Be creative, but keep all decorations kid friendly and not scary  

• Main Street Ottumwa will select judges to pick the best-decorated trunk contest! 

• Trunks are strongly encouraged to display the name of your organization or logo. 

• There will be NO electrical support available for your decorations.

 

HANDOUTS

• Participants are to bring unopened candy or other “give-away” items to distribute. 

• We anticipate 1000+ children, so please come equipped with enough items to pass out!  

CLEAN-UP  

• Participants are responsible for clean-up of their area and must be finished by 8:00pm.
