This year’s event will be held Thursday, April 25, and will be like last year’s event. The event will start at 3:30 pm and we ask that you stay open until 7:30 pm. We received great reviews from last year’s event both from those who participated and business owners. This event is one of our favorites and has grown to be one of the best attended events that we do.

We will be giving away a great prize thanks to South Ottumwa Savings Bank which will sure to grab attention. We will not be having an after party but will do a drawing the following day online for the prize. We have a passport that may be purchased to be eligible for the prize, but additional chances will be given for sales receipts from participating businesses. If you would like to do additional giveaways or drawings in your business, we encourage you to also do these online the following day. 

Bags and passports will be handed out and turned in at three locations this year. Registration Fee for In-District Businesses is $75.00 which helps cover cost of Swag Bags, Passports, Trolley, Facebook marketing, and the continued work of Main Street Ottumwa Mission of fostering a vibrant, dynamic, and healthy downtown.

If you are a business that wants to participate, but are not in the MSO district, we have some additional spaces in some already established businesses for vendors. The fee for out-of-district businesses is $100. Please contact Fred Zesiger @ 641-226-1353 or email: director@mainstreetottumwa.com
