...utilizing appropriate design concepts, the visual quality of the downtown (buildings, signs, window displays, landscaping, and environment) is enhanced.

The Design Committee focuses on second story rehabs, historical preservation, streetscape improvements, facade improvements, the building of more housing downtown, etc.

Some of the activities coming up for this committee in the next year:

• building inventory downtown

• facade pull-down program

• hanging flower baskets

• second story tours

• historical preservation month

• holiday decorations for the downtown district

• Facade Improvement Program
